Voice Day Planner: say your day, get a plan

Nobody thinks in to-do items. You think in sentences — “gym at 7 for an hour, call the plumber, kal subah 9 baje meeting hai.” Voice Day Planner takes that, exactly as you said it, in English, Hindi or Hinglish, and turns it into a timed plan with reminders. No sign-up, no account, and it works offline.

The problem

Typing a to-do list is the work you were trying to avoid.

What it does

You press record and talk the way you actually talk — switching between English, Hindi and Hinglish mid-sentence is fine. What comes back is a clean, timed schedule with reminders, not a transcript.

The rule that defines the product is printed on its own home page: “Only what you say gets added.” The model is there to structure and time what it heard, not to suggest, pad or improve it. That constraint is why you can trust the output without re-reading it.

How it is built

A React app wrapped for Android with Capacitor, using on-device speech recognition for capture and an LLM purely as a structuring step. The published build is version 2.8, 2.8 MB, Android 7.0 or newer — small, because almost nothing ships that does not need to.

The engineering that matters is the boundary around the model. Speech comes in; the model’s only job is to split it into items and assign times; anything it did not hear is not allowed through. Plans are written to the phone rather than a backend, which is also why there is no account to create and nothing to sync.

FAQ

Does it work in Hindi and Hinglish?

Yes — English, Hindi and Hinglish, including switching between them in the same sentence.

Will it add tasks I did not mention?

No. The app’s rule is “only what you say gets added.” The AI structures and times what it heard; it is not allowed to suggest or pad.

Do I need an account?

No. There is no sign-up and no account. Your plans stay on your phone, and there are no ads.

What does it need to run?

Android 7.0 or newer. The current build is version 2.8 and about 2.8 MB.

Who built Voice Day Planner?

Vansh Kashyap, a developer in New Delhi — designed and built end to end.

Have a workflow that should be one sentence instead of ten taps?

Voice, AI and a strict rule about what the model is allowed to do — that is the pattern. Tell me yours.
